Schedule
1 DAY CLIMB
Appointment at approximately 6.30 am at the Skyway Monte Bianco ticket office (cost €59 at the ticket office and €55 online )).
Ascent to Punta Helbronner and descent to the Torino refuge. Itinerary entirely on the ridge and then back on the glacier.
Time: Approximately 3:30h
Difference in altitude: Approximately 650m+ total

Are you alone? Suggest a date and we’ll look for other people. Book in advance, we will form the group.
Required skills
Good physical training for mountain walks. At least 1500m D+ uphill during summer trekking as a prerequisite. A minimum of experience on 4000m and in the use of crampons.
The price includes
- UIAGM mountain guide
- Common mountaineering equipment (various rope and carabiners)
- Sign up to the Adventure Dreamers group in your region and be able to participate in our customers’ free self-organised activities throughout the year
The price does not include
- Transfers to/from the meeting place ► you will be able to organize yourself with the other participants
- Cable car (around €55 return online or €59 at the ticket office) li>
- Alpine guide cable car (to be divided between participants)
- Equipment rental: harness, crampons, ice ax and helmet. Possible rental. (See FAQ below)
- Possibility to rent boots (at Monturastore AlpStation in Aosta)

Required personal equipment
- Layered clothing suitable for high mountains:
“Onion” clothing is recommended, i.e. with various layers to be adjusted based on the temperature:
– thermal underwear;
– fleece or soft shell type layer
– waterproof shell/jacket + warm jacket (such as a down jacket or similar).
– Hat or headband
– two pairs of snow gloves
– mask and sunglasses
– UV protective cream
– Front (only if you sleep in the refuge)
– Backpack 30/40 LT
– Sheet bag (only if you sleep in a refuge)
– front light (only if you sleep in the refuge)
– Telescopic poles (optional but very useful!)
– rigid waterproof high-ankle boots (not universal) (possible rental in Cervinia or Aosta)
– canteen
– bars/dried fruit/gel/mineral salts for the climb - Mountaineering equipment (harness, classic ice axe, crampons and helmet) possible rental
Common equipment such as ropes, webbing, carabiners etc. are brought by the guide

• FAILURE TO PARTICIPATE: if you are unable to participate in one or more course outings due to personal reasons you will not be able to recover the outing and it will not be possible to obtain a refund.
• FAILURE TO REACH THE MINIMUM NUMBER: if the group of participants does not reach the minimum number, you will be entitled to a refund or you can use the fee for any other event. It’s your choice! Possibility of integrating the missing fee to start the course if all participants wish.
• IMPOSSIBILITY TO FIND TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT FOR RENTAL or INAPPROPRIATE EQUIPMENT: it is not possible to receive a refund if you have not found mandatory technical equipment for rent or your equipment is not suitable. In this case we recommend purchasing new equipment.
• OTHER CAUSES: for any other cause of cancellation on your part you are not entitled to a refund.
• COVID OR OTHER ILLNESSES/INJURIES: a refund is not provided due to COVID, various injuries or other illnesses.
No refunds will be made if a member of the group is unable to continue a lesson due to physical level or learning problems; or if the guide decides to go down for reasons due to the capabilities of the group or the weather. The group agrees to respect the unquestionable judgment of the Alpine Guide and that nothing is owed by the organization.
It is possible to organize yourself independently in cars shared between participants, via the WhatsApp group, created about a week before the event.
The precise time and location will be communicated via a WhatsApp group, approximately 2/3 days in advance, based on weather and snow conditions.
CAR
A5 Turin-Monte Bianco motorway. Exit at Entreves and reach the cable cars where there is a paid car park (approximately €10 per day).
BUS/TRAIN
The closest train station is Pré Saint Didier with trains from Aosta. A scheduled bus service to/from Courmayeur is active (check independently for timetables and activation) for each train.
Several daily buses departing from Aosta. PLANE
Transfers are facilitated by the proximity to the international airports of Turin Caselle, Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate and Geneva (CH). For transfers to and from the airports, there are various possibilities with buses, taxis and rental cars.
The climb will end after lunch/early afternoon, depending on the group’s progression time; allowing everyone to return home the same day.
By contacting an Alpine Guide, you make use of a professional trained and trained on all the latest safety standards and who makes his experience, expertise and knowledge of the places available to support you in the path proposed by the internship and above all to evaluate when we are there the conditions for canceling or modifying an outing for safety reasons.

RENTAL The request for rental equipment must be communicated in good time, at least one week before the start of the event.
However, we recommend communicating this when purchasing the event. The guide will bring all the equipment directly to the event.
