ORGANISING WINTER COURSES
Everything you need to know
🌱Arranging travel by using the smallest number of cars will decrease our environmental impact and save us money on travel costs.
You will be able to organise yourself with the other participants on a WhatsApp group that will be set up by us about a week before the start of the course, where in addition to announcing the place and time, we will put you in touch with the other participants.
You will find all information by clicking on the link for each venue.
Not all locations of our events are listed below. In the event of a different location, you can independently assess the choice of accommodation.
We always recommend opting for accommodation with cancellation, as the event programme may change depending on weather conditions. In addition, on the participants’ whatsapp group* (created about a week beforehand) you can make your own arrangements to share accommodation.

The rates relating to rentals may undergo variations established and applied by the managing bodies, without any responsibility attributable to Adventure Dreamers.
Course participants will have to independently arrange for rental equipment requests.
It is not possible to rent ice/mixed crampons and technical ice axes for advanced mountaineering courses. The purchase must be made.

FAQ
Domande frequenti
The precise location of the course will be communicated on the WhatsApp group by the mountain guide (group that will be created on the Monday before the event).
We recommend looking on the event page for the places that could be chosen based on the region where you decide to take the course.
The meeting time will also be indicated by the mountain guide on the WhatsApp group. The meeting is usually before 9 am and not before 7.30 am (except in special cases).
We recommend visiting the “Insurances” page to cover all cancellation costs (e.g. COVID)
- BAD WEATHER: The decision regarding the cancellation of an outing lies with the mountain guide. Winter courses do not necessarily have to be held in the sun. I will be the mountain guide to evaluate the feasibility of the course from time to time. In case of cancellation by the mountain guide, a refund will not be provided but a make-up date will be established, chosen by vote among the participants. If you are unable to participate in the recovery you will no longer be able to recover.
- FAILURE TO PARTICIPATE: if you are unable to participate in one or more course outings due to personal reasons you will not be able to recover the outing and it will not be possible to obtain a refund.
- FAILURE TO REACH THE MINIMUM NUMBER: if the group of participants does not reach the minimum number, you will be entitled to a refund or you can use the fee for any other event. It’s your choice!
- IMPOSSIBILITY TO FIND RENTAL TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT: it is not possible to receive a refund if you have not found compulsory rental technical equipment. In this case we recommend purchasing new equipment.
- OTHER CAUSES: for any other cause of cancellation on our part you are entitled to a refund.
- COVID: there is no refund due to COVID
If on the same dates there are multiple groups with more than one of our guides, the groups will be formed based on the experience and level of the participants. Participants without minimum requirements will not be admitted to the course. When forming the groups, the origin of the participants will also be taken into account, in order to facilitate shared travel and give the opportunity to meet members near their home.
It is a certificate signed by the mountain guide. It can be included in your personal CV and certifies having attended a course with a UIAGM guide.
The mountain is never a place where safety is 100% guaranteed. We rely on a mountain guide to learn and reduce risks. The cases are rare but for a little extra economic effort you can pay for any future unwanted expenses or rescue interventions (especially if in borderlands).
We therefore recommend that all participants take out an insurance contract.
